The Axworthys Group are one of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of Office Products, with a network of Sales Offices, Retail Outlets and Distribution Centres throughout the UK.

The Axworthys Company was founded in Devon in 1868 and was originally a newspaper manufacturer, responsible for printing the Paignton Observer Newspaper. However, in the late 1970’s the direction of the company changed, although still involved in the print trade, the focus was now directed on the Office Products industry. By the turn of the century Axworthys had become one of largest independently owned Stationers in the country, with over 70 employees and an estimated annual turnover in excess of £7 million.

The recent growth of Axworthys has been phenomenal; this has been due to the positive response of consumers to our business concept. We offer a level of service, which can only be provided by a local company and a pricing structure that competes favourably against the National competitors.

All Axworthys branches & depots endeavour to support their local community, providing employment and purchasing services from these areas.
